We are a long established, progressive practice that believes wholeheartedly in gold standard patient, client and employee care.

This is a dynamic, demanding position where no two days are the same. The candidate must be empathetic, friendly, have a high degree of accuracy and be a good team player.

Having the ability to build a rapport with our clients, their pets and with your colleagues is of the utmost importance.

To be considered for this role, you will need to demonstrate proven reception experience (or similar) and hold strong administration, organisational and customer service skills.

In this role, you will be responsible for meeting and greeting pets and their owners, scheduling appointments, handling telephone enquiries and processing payments.

Other duties include dispensing medication, ensuring stock levels are accurate, maintaining good communication between clients and the veterinary team and keeping the front of house area as clean and as welcoming as possible.

Please note this position is a client care role and will not develop into a nursing position. We are hoping to find two new receptionists, to work 30 hours, Monday - Friday. The positions will be based in Cardiff or Ystrad Mynach, please advise which site you're applying for in your application.
